Born in 1965 in Dikar, Iraq. Member of Iraqi union musicians He studied NAY at the Institute for Iraqi Music in Baghdad. He studied two years in Academy of fine arts. He worked as a teacher in The Institute of fine arts in Baghdad. He was soloist in one of the television orchestras in Baghdad and has accompanied almost all the well-known musicians and singers in the Middle-East. ADNAN SHANAN is a virtuoso on the NAY, but is mostly loved for his for sensitive, romantic improvisations.
