Khalid Hussein Gomar

 

Have distinguished styles characterized by an Iraqi spirit and tone in composing music mixed with the modern style. He was taught by the most prominent maestros: Rawhi Al-khamash, Dr. Tariq Hasson Farid, Dr. Hussam Yaqoob, Muataz Mohammed Salih Hussein Al-Udami, Mohammed Hussein Gomer, Salim AbdulKareem, Farida Mohammed Ali and Alla Al-Hamdani


• Born in Diyala in 1978
• Higher Diploma from Musical Studies Institute in 2001 , came second in his department.
• Bachelor in Musical Sciences from College of Fine Arts ( Department of Musical Arts ) in 2004
• Teacher of Oriental Musical Theories in the Institute of Musical Studies.

Works:
• Composed several melodies for TV series works and radio as well as composed melodies for several songs.
• Some of the songs he composed music for are: Whdat Al-Iraq, Ethatna Al-Assil, Allah Yehris Al-Muntakhab for the Iraqi Fottbal National team, scenery music titled "Iraq's tragedy in my memory" .
• Composed a piece titled "Iraqi Melodies from North to South "


Activities:
• Participated in all musical concerts conducted by the Musical Studies Institutes and College of Fine Arts Bands, Babil Folklore Band and Muneer Basheir Lute Band
• Formed the Iraqi Originality Deut with Zyad Hadi to revive the Iraqi folklore and spread it all over the world .

• Member of Central Musical Band of the Musical Studies Institute, 1996-2001 ( Conducted by the Maestros Rawhi Al-Khamash, Mohammed Hussein Komer, Dr. FatahAllah Ahmed and Ali Al-Khassaf )
• Member of Central Musical Band of College of Fine Arts 2001 -2004. ( Conducted by the Maestros Dr. Tariq Hasson Farid and Dr. Khalid Ibrahim )
• Member of Babil Folklore Band
• Member of Muneer Basheir Band
• Member of the Iraqi Musicians Union
• Member of the Arab Authors and Intellectuals Union
Awards
• First Award for Scenery Music in Fa'iza Al-Haidery Fashion House in 2002
• Appreciation Certificate for Al-Nakheel Festival of the College of Fine Arts in 2003 .
• Several Appreciation Awards
